The journey started when I was 10 when my seamstress mother introducted me to a sewing machine and I found I had a natural ability. I have been sewing, repairing and altering clothes for the last 45 years for family, friends and special commissions. I have a BA in fashion design and won the prestigious 'best in show' for my final major project. I'm passionate about the care of clothes and treat each item with respect.
